Intera Survey

Facade Survey

An as-built survey focused specifically on a building's exterior elevations — panel layout, window and door openings, and cladding geometry, drawn from the point cloud rather than estimated.

Usually delivered as a Level 2 or Level 3 Scan to CAD drawing; where a fabrication-ready output is needed, a Scan to Model panel model can be built directly from the same capture.

Frequently asked

Can this feed directly into fabrication?
Yes — where a fabrication-ready output is needed, we build a Scan to Model panel model with joint and panel lines drawn from the point cloud, not estimated.
Do you need scaffolding or lift access?
Not usually — the FARO scanner captures from ground-level or accessible vantage points; tell us about any unusually tall or obstructed elevations before the site visit.
Can you survey just one elevation, or does it have to be the whole building?
Just one elevation is fine — we scope facade surveys per elevation, not per building.
Do you capture window and door openings precisely enough for a replacement order?
Yes — opening dimensions are drawn directly from the point cloud, accurate enough for a window or door fabricator to quote and manufacture against.
How is a facade survey priced?
By elevation count and complexity — panel type, height, detailing — ask for a quote once you know how many elevations you need covered.
