Volume Survey
A volume survey uses a point cloud to calculate the precise volume of a stockpile, excavation, or void — a common use case for the Level 1 Linework Survey CAD tier.
Because the point cloud captures the real surface rather than an estimated one, volume calculations from it are dramatically more accurate than a manual or photogrammetry-based estimate.
