What does Intera Survey actually do, in one sentence?
We laser-scan buildings and industrial sites and deliver the result as accurate 2D CAD drawings, 3D models, or BIM models — whichever your project actually needs.
Which countries do you serve, and how quickly can you mobilize?
We're based in Budapest and cover Hungary plus 8 neighboring/nearby countries — see the Coverage page for mobilization times specific to each one.
What languages do you work in?
Hungarian and English for on-site coordination and delivered reports; other languages can be arranged on request depending on the market.
How is a quote calculated? What information do you need from us to quote?
Quotes are based on site size/complexity and the deliverable tier (CAD level, Model tier, or BIM LOD). Tell us the site, the intended use of the deliverable, and any access constraints, and we'll scope it from there.
Do you hold an ISO certificate?
No — we don't hold a formal ISO certificate. Our accuracy comes from a hybrid Leica Total Station + FARO laser-scanning workflow, with every point cloud registered against a geo-referenced control network. See the Scan to BIM page's "On certification" section for the full explanation.
What's the relationship between Intera Survey and 3DGeomatic?
3DGeomatic (Istanbul, founded 2007) is a related company under common ownership, covering Turkey, Asia, and Africa. Intera Survey (Hungary, founded 2023) covers Europe. See the 3DGeomatic page for more.
Can you keep our project confidential?
Yes — every case study is anonymized by default. No client name, logo, or identifying detail goes live without written permission on file. See our Projects page for how that looks in practice.
What file formats do you deliver, and will they work with our software?
Point clouds as ReCap projects (.rcp), CAD as DWG/DXF, and BIM as RVT/IFC — tell us your specific software and version and we'll confirm compatibility before delivery.
What happens if site access is restricted or the site is still operational?
Scanning is scheduled around active operations, and restricted-access areas can be captured in a later pass and merged into the existing registration. Tell us about constraints before the site visit so it's built into the schedule.
