Deformation Survey
A deformation survey compares two or more point clouds of the same structure captured at different times, to measure movement, settlement, or distortion.
Because every scan is registered against the same control network, two scans of the same structure taken months apart can be compared directly to quantify real movement, not scan-to-scan noise.
